Wall Residence Hall

Wall Residence Hall is Tulane’s First-Year Honors Community. The Honors Residential Learning Community embraces the ideal of scholarly engagement as a goal for all high-achieving students. Through increased interaction with faculty both inside and outside the classroom, students are immersed in a collaborative, intellectual, and close-knit social community with a focus on academic enrichment and excellence. Students from all disciplines can apply to become members of Tulane's Honors Residential College. Wall features single-, double-, and triple-occupancy rooms. The Wall desk is open 24/7 to assist residents with key/access issues, security concerns, or additional questions. Contact the Wall desk at 504-865-6754.

Wall Residence Hall is also home to a faculty member and their family. This Faculty in Residence helps college residents to become more engaged in the intellectual and social activities at the University.

For the 2020 - 2021 academic year, the University determined that we will not offer expanded capacity spaces in the residence halls. As many students know, Wall traditionally has many triple and double rooms that are considered expanded capacity rooms. In order to ensure the health and safety of students on campus for the spring and summer terms, we will not make any furniture changes to rooms in Wall. Students are welcome to reconfigure any furniture in their room, but will not be able to remove furniture from their room.
