KEYS
Keys may not be loaned or made available to anyone other than an assigned resident of that apartment. Residents may not create duplicate keys. Residents agree to pay a replacement fee designated by the Manager for damaged apartments keys. Also, resident agrees to pay for lockouts after 9pm and /or to change the locks anytime a key is lost, missing, or copied. Lockouts after 9pm cost: $75. Lost keys cost: $150 per key. Replacement/damaged keys cost: $150 per key.
PARKING
Contract parking is available through Campus Services located at the 1440 Canal Street, Tidewater Building, Suite 803. Contact Campus Services by phone at 504-865-5441 or click here for more information.
TELEPHONE LINE
Phone service is not included in your monthly rent. If you want a land line telephone in your room, email telecom1@tulane.edu with your name, Splash Card number, and room number after check-in. Landline phone service is $30/month.
SPLASH CARD
You are required to carry your Splash Card (Tulane University (photo ID) at all times. Your Splash Card acts as your key for all campus buildings, including Deming Pavilion.
Splash Cards are available at Campus Services in the Tidewater Building, 1440 Canal Street, Suite 803. Your initial Splash Card is free; replacement Splash Cards cost $30. To gain key card access to the appropriate academic buildings, bring your Splash Card to the first floor security desk in the Tulane School of Medicine, 1430 Tulane Avenue. To gain key card access to Deming, visit the Deming management office.
CARTS
Carts are available at no charge and are located on the first floor of the lobby. Please see the security person to secure a cart for your groceries or other items.
BELLMAN’S CART
We have rolling bellman's carts available at no charge for your luggage. They are located on the first floor of the lobby. Please see the security person to secure a cart when you move in. We also have receiving area in the rear of the building where you can park temporarily to unload.
LAUNDRY FACILITIES
Washers and dryers are located on each floor at Deming with unlimited usage.
STUDY ROOMS
Study rooms are located on floors 4, 6 and 8 floor of Deming for your use.
ON-CALL RESIDENT
We have a rotating resident who is on call Monday through Thursday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 am and from Friday at 4:00 pm until Monday at 8:00 am. They are available for lock outs and small maintenance issues. If you are interested in signing up to be an on-call resident, please notify the office to put your name on list.
COURTYARD
The courtyard is located on the 2nd floor and has tables, chairs, loungers and beautiful flowers which provide a lush and inviting atmosphere to relax.
