All students who live on campus must submit a Housing Application and sign a Housing Agreement. Log onto your Housing Portal to access your application.
Newly admitted students can begin applying for Fall housing in early March. Students must complete their Housing Application and sign their Housing Agreement by early May. Students are then sent their housing assignments in mid-July.
Applications for Spring housing open in late October or early November. Students who apply for Spring housing prior to November 15 will receive their assignments in early December. Students that apply after December 10 will not be assigned until the university reopens in January.
Assignments - First-year students are assigned housing based on the availability of each space.
Gender Affirming Housing (GAH) - If you would like to be assigned to Gender Affirming Housing, you must indicate that on your housing application. Not sure? Learn more about Gender Affirming Housing.

Incoming students are encouraged to apply to live in a Residential Learning Community (RLC). Tulane RLCs are immersive, collaborative living spaces that encourage students to exchange, challenge, question, and grow—both academically and socially. Learn more about RLCs.
