Maintenance and Services

The residence halls are cleaned and maintained through a partnership with Campus Services. There are staff on campus to help students troubleshoot issues during the day and additional staff available to respond to emergencies when our offices are closed.

MAINTENANCE

Staff from Campus Services perform routine maintenance in the residence halls on a daily basis. If a student has a maintenance issue, they should report the issue to Campus Services immediately via one of the following methods:

CLEANING

The residence halls are maintained daily to maintain a healthy living environment for students. Cleaning staff are responsible for cleaning and maintaining shared areas in the residence halls and students are responsible for cleaning inside their rooms.

Shared restrooms in traditional-style residence halls are cleaned each morning, Monday through Friday. Shared restrooms in Irby, Phelps and Wall halls are cleaned on a weekly basis. Students who live in suited or private restrooms are responsible for cleaning their own restrooms.

To report an issue with cleaning, students should report the issue to Campus Services immediately via one of the following methods:

LAUNDRY

Use of washers and dryers in the residence halls is provided to students as part of their room and board. Students may view available machines, set up text message alerts and report issues with a machine via LaundryView.

INTERNET & CABLE

All network and cable television services and associated equipment are managed by Tulane University Technology Services. If you're experiencing an issue with your internet connection or the physical hardware that allows you to connect to the campus network, please use one of the following methods to contact Technology Services.

  • Report the issue via the Technology Services online support system.
  • E-mail help@tulane.edu with description of the issue.
  • Call Technology Services at 504-862-8888
