Residential Learning Communities

Tulane Residential Learning Communities are immersive, collaborative living spaces that encourage students to exchange, challenge, question, and grow—both academically and socially.

Residential Learning Communities provide students with a unique educational experience within the residence hall environment. Here, students live alongside other students with shared academic and co-curricular interests and benefit from additional faculty support and involvement. Residential Learning Communities also pair students with university and community resources to allow them to pursue their passions. By design, Residential Learning Communities are attached to a university TIDES course that supplements their programs and activities. In addition to interacting with faculty members in the classroom, residents have the opportunity to continue their learning outside of the classroom  with faculty members who are partnered with or live in the residence halls. By bringing faculty and students together in meaningful ways, residents are empowered to form academic and social support networks.
