Warren Hall

Named for Warren Newcomb, beloved husband of Newcomb College founder Josephine Louise Newcomb, this charming residence hall features elegant turn-of-the-century architecture. One side of the building, known as Old Warren, opened its doors in 1927 and was designed to complement the original Newcomb campus. The side known as New Warren was added at a later date (1952), but retains the feel of the original building.

Warren is a three-story building with a variety of rooms. It has double rooms, with extra long beds, and a community bath. In addition, there are a few two-room suites with a shared bathroom and several single rooms in Warren. Many of the rooms have lovely, old fashioned, casement windows, and a number have French doors that open onto small balconies. Most rooms in Old Warren have a very open, airy feeling. The main floor also has a spacious lounge, several study rooms for individual work or group meetings, and a computer lab. The building has a second floor balcony.
Warren is home to both men and women and is coed by floor. Warren 1 and 3 along Drill Road are designated for men, and Warren 2 along Drill Road is reserved for women. Warren, Even Side - near the Temporary Classroom Complex - is also reserved for women.
