Housing Options: First-Year Students

As an incoming first-year student, your life outside the classroom will have a great impact on your first-year experience. Each of our residence halls is unique and no matter which one you call home, we hope your first-year experience will be a great one!

Butler House Butler is a co-ed Honors House with a blended community of mostly first-year students and selected sophomores. Students must be accepted into the Honors program in order to reside in Butler. For more information about Butler, click here.


Josephine Louise Hall
, or JL, is a female-only hall and is home to first-year students, transfer students, and selected returning students. For more information about JL, click here.


Monroe Hall, is a coed hall and home to a blended community comprised of first-year students as well as a selected number of sophomores. For more information about Monroe, click here.


Paterson House, also known as the Wellness Community, is a coed community comprised of first-year students and sophomores. For more information about Paterson, click here.


Sharp Hall is a coed hall and the only hall exclusively available to first-year students. For more information about Sharp, click here.
