Aron Residences, located on the former site of Tulane Stadium and named in honor of the philanthropist Jack Aron and his family, is an exciting on-campus housing alternative for junior- and senior-level students. Students living in Aron are afforded the flexibility of an on-campus apartment with the conveniences and advantages one expects while living off-campus.
There are 18 unique floor plans from which to choose, and some have private balconies. Aron consists of three-, four- and five-bedroom furnished apartments. Each apartment has two bathrooms, central heat/air conditioning, closet organizers, cable TV and Internet access, local phone connection, and all-electric kitchen appliances including dishwashers. Students must bring their own kitchen and bathroom supplies. The Aron/Willow office has vacuum cleaners, games, and movies available for checkout. There is a laundry facility and social lounge within the complex and several outdoor grills in the courtyard.
Please note that because these units are individual apartments, electricity is billed separately and therefore not included in the room charge. Your monthly charges are taken out of a $300 electricity deposit. Any balance remaining at the end of the year will be credited to your Accounts Receivable. However, if your electricity charges exceed your electric deposit, those charges will be placed on your account at the end of the year.
