Welcome to Tulane University. We are very excited that you selected Tulane and want you to know that we are here to assist you in the application process for on-campus housing, finding roommates as well as searching for off-campus accomodations.
Transfer students accepted through the Office of Admissions, will complete their committment materials and housing application and contract through the Accepted Student Website (ASW). The deadline to complete these materials is June 1, 2008. If you have not completed your housing contract through the ASW. then you will not be considered for a housing assignment.
Please review the Housing Options for information about residence halls available to transfer students. Please note that while housing is guaranteed for incoming first-year students and continuing/returning sophomore students (as part of the two-year residency requirement), transfer students are neither guaranteed housing nor required to live on campus.
New students enrolling part-time through the School of Continuing Students (SCS) are not guaranteed housing but will be offered housing on a first-come, first-serve basis as space is available. You may download the SCS Housing Application here. NOTE: SCS students must be registered for at least 12 hours to be eligible for on-campus housing.
RoommateClick - Roommate Finder
Transfer Students who have committed by
June 1, 2008 will receive their unique registration key on Monday, June 9, 2008.
This will allow them to participate in the RoommateClick service to find roommates. In addition, transfer students will receive information on the partner service, ApartmentSource
Typical Assignments Timeline
We typically issue housing assignments to incoming transfer students, when available, in early August.
