Roommates & Suitemates
- Rising Sophomores can pull in roommates and suitemates in Irby, Phelps, Mayer (T2 acceptances only), Paterson, Warren (limited space in Warren) and a limited number of double-occupancy (4-person suites and 3-person suites, double room only) in Willow. Rising sophomores must pull in fellow rising sophomores in all of the above rooms except the 3-person suites in Willow. A rising junior can pull in two rising sophomores into the double room attached to the single room (3 person suites). Rising sophomores can not be pulled into Modular or Aron.
- Rising Juniors can pull in roommates and suitemates in Willow (and if available in Aron and Modular). Rising juniors can pull in rising juniors and rising seniors and they may be pulled into Aron or Modular by rising seniors. Rising juniors may also pull rising sophomores into the double rooms within 3-person suites in Willow.
- Rising Seniors can pull in Rising Juniors and Rising Seniors as roommates and suitemates in Aron Apartments and Modular Housing (and if available Willow). Rising Seniors can be pulled into Willow by Rising Juniors.
- You MUST have the RMS ID# of the persons you wish to room/suite with prior to room selection.
Building Information, Room Information
Below are enhanced building floor plans in PDF format (please pardon the size of the larger buildings!). You should download and print those buildings within your class standing/category to familiarize yourself with the layout and the room numbers. The following terms will be helpful to know for EACH BUILDING you have priority for (and is included within each file):
BUILDING CODE (the 2 letter code for the building)
ROOM TYPE (the type of room - 2 Per Suite-WI means a single-single suite in Willow)
RATE CODE (the rate attached to the room type)
ROOM NUMBER (the "master" room - see additional info below for suite rooms)
BED SPACE (the actual bed spaces available in a room or suite)
There are a few important things to note about Suite Style Buildings (Willow, Mayer, Irby, Phelps, Paterson & Warren). These have been configured to "attach" each room within a suite. Room Numbers and Bed Spaces in these buildings appear as follows:
- ROOM NUMBER: WI-130-132 (this means Willow 130 and 132 share a bathroom)
- BED SPACES: WI-130A, WI-130B and WI-132A (this means this suite has two bed spaces in Willow 130 and one bed space in Willow 132)
Gray Sections are offline as a result of being a staff apartment or rooms, an ADA compliant room that is on reserve or pre-assigned, or is a non-designated other use space).
Resident Advisor rooms, including gender, are marked as well.

Online Room Selection, General Information
In general terms, online room selection will be based on your class standing and will occur in a sequence that allows for the priorities described online here. Specifically, Rising Seniors will select first and will be able to select from Aron Apartments and Modular Housing AND will have the opportunity to pull in rising seniors or rising juniors into their assigned room/apartment. Apartments must be filled to maintain the apartment! Subsequently, Rising Juniors will select from Willow and remaining apartments in Aron and remaining units in Modular Housing. The rising sophomore selection process will occur last and include the remaining buildings.
More details, including step by step instructions can be found online here.
